Tea For Two
In the early 2000s, a young taxi driver nearly hits an elderly photographer on the beach, and they argue. Later, the driver rests, disturbed by the photographer’s ongoing arguments. As evening falls, the photographer persuades the driver to take him home, though he only remembers a vague address. The driver agrees reluctantly and follows him to significant locations from his past.
After a second stop, frustrated with the unclear directions, the driver tells the photographer to leave but later turns back, finding him lost in thought. The photographer hands him a photo of a crossroad, claiming his home is there.
During the drive, the photographer wakes, panics, and tries to escape, but the driver calms him with the photo. This triggers memories of his daughter, Insiya, who died in an accident on that road. He whispers, "If I had been more careful, she would still be alive."
The driver, now empathetic, listens as the photographer recounts his pain. After asking the photographer to wait for tea, the driver discovers an address written on the back of the photo. When he calls out, the photographer is gone.
The driver visits the address at dawn, finding an empty house filled with the photographer’s memories. The photographer arrives, not remembering their journey.
The driver explains he found the photograph and returns it.
Touched, the photographer invites him for tea, and the driver offers his support with his landline number.
