Indian history says that Malabar and Tamil have a very Inseparable relationship. Tamil culture is rooted in the arts and ways of life of Tamils in India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, and across the globe. Tamil culture is versatile articulated in language, literature, music, dance, theatre, folk arts, painting, media, comedy, cuisine, costumes, celebrations, philosophy, traditions, rituals, etc. So this time Malabar Festivals Team directing an exclusive international festival only for Tamil Music & Tamil Films.

Tamil is a Dravidian language natively spoken by the Tamil people of South Asia. It is an official language of the sovereign nations of Sri Lanka and Singapore, the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, and the Union Territory of Puducherry. And it is used by significant minorities in the four other South Indian states of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and the Union Territory of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Tamil is also spoken by the Tamil diaspora found in many countries, including Malaysia, Myanmar, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia & Mauritius. Tamil is also natively spoken by Sri Lankan Moors.

Tamil has the most ancient non-Sanskritic Indian literature. Scholars categorize the attested history of the language into three periods: Old Tamil (300 BC-AD 700), Middle Tamil (700–1600), and Modern Tamil (1600–present). So the main aim of "Tamil Music & Film Fest" is to collect Tamil talents, performances, experiences & creativity from around the world; and feel, enjoy & learn at our venue. This festival is for understanding the current and development status of the above-said versatilities of Tamil natives and Tamil diaspora.
