Director Statement

For young and old, exploring a forest with the guidance of a naturalist is a rare experience. My idea with this documentary is to make some of the wonders of the tropical forest available to all and at the same time empower new generations to fight for our planet.

We already know the strength of stories to convey a message, how powerful the audiovisual is for the message to reach its destination, and also that we have to take action on the problems we have created for the environment.

Panama can be an example in conservation issues if we become aware and support the initiatives that are happening worldwide to help maintain biodiversity and protect tropical ecosystems.

This is my grain of sand, the way that I as a documentary maker can join the global movement for the planet, taking care of our biodiversity and telling "The Tales of the Forest".
