Tahlia Pompel is a queer Asian American filmmaker from Southern California. She is part of the Digital Media Arts Academy at El Dorado High School and has been a student of FilmED Academy of the Arts for the past two years. She specializes in directing and cinematography.
Tahlia's work focuses on real human emotion and struggle. She strives to use art as a way to shine a light on stories that are not always heard but need to be told. Her passion is to empathize with her audience and create timeless work that people of multiple backgrounds can identify with.
