Michael and Charles met in acting class in the heart of Hollywood in a small theater at Hollywood and Vine. After attending class for a number of years they began writing scenes and performing them in class. The reception they received from their fellow students and acting coach encouraged them to write more and they were soon writing, directing, acting, and producing entire shows that consisted of their off-beat satirical one-acts. In 2005 they made the short film "Rendezvous", a sci-fi comedy, that won Best Sci-Fi Featurette at the Phoenix International Horror/Sci-Fi Film Festival and was screened at the first ever Comic-Con Film Festival in San Diego. In addition, the two have written several full-length screenplays. They've teamed up once again to bring to the festival circuit "Table For Two", a piece that was workshopped in their acting class, then later turned into a short film.
We tend to write characters and situations that at first, appear to be very normal and ordinary, but then slowly materialize into something quite horrific, bizarre, and even a bit surreal -- Charles Mitri & Michael Mizgalski
