Hussain Abdullah had his first TV jobs during high school gathering on-set experience in various departments. After studying media technology he worked as assistant director on several projects for seven years in countries such as China, South Korea, Italy and Germany.
Hussain has trained in martial arts and stunts. Besides a few jobs as stuntman and fight choreographer for TV productions he also worked on the James Bond 007 feature film 'Skyfall' as stunt performer.
As a screen writer Hussain has been writing episodes for various German crime series.
He worked as a freelancing producer/director on a TV show called 'GT Academy' filming in the UK and in Abu Dhabi. He also received a degree from the SAE Institute in 'Digital Film & VFX'.
Hussain is fluent in English, German and Arabic and has basic knowledge of French, Turkish and Mandarin.
He resides in Cologne, Germany.
”There Was To Be Peace” is a short film, but it also serves as part of a proof-of-concept for a possible feature-film version. The post-apocalypse is an international topic. People all over the world are worried for the future of this planet. The growing popularity of post-apocalyptic films and TV series such as “The Walking Dead”, “Children of Men” and “Mad Max: Fury Road” is an indicator of this wide-spread awareness of mankind heading into the wrong direction.
Above all however, “There Was To Be Peace” serves the purpose of telling an engaging good story for people to enjoy.
