Henrique Nuzzi is a director, screenwriter and film editor. Graduated in film direction at the Academia Internacional de Cinema (AIC) and in screenwriting at Roteiraria – School of Script Formation. From the age of twelve, he began experimenting with the family's digital cameras. During his training as a director, he directed the noir thriller short film “Dois Perdidos”, based on the play by Plínio Marcos. And the experimental horror short film “Solicita Alma”, a fragmented narrative that draws on surrealism and the symbologies of the collective unconscious. He directed the short film “Anima”, which also uses the unconscious fears of human beings to generate tension and conflict. The film has a dynamic and experimental edition, also made by Nuzzi. He directed the short drama film “Entre Águas Turvas”, which explores the conflicting relationship of two sisters, in addition to directing, Nuzzi did the cinematography and the edition of the film. He also scripted three feature films “Corrupted Heroes”, “Medusa” and “Dark Corners”, together with his creative partner Ananda Scaravelli. Nuzzi seeks in his works the aesthetic commitment and the study of horror and fantasy genres, feeding on the symbologies present in the human imagination.
"Two lost in a Dirty Night" is a classic on Brazilian stages. We seek to portray the urban universe but without losing the theatrical minimalism.
