The “TRAme Indipendenti” Short Film Festival has the aim to promote the independent movie through the screening of high quality cinema productions, produced outside the major film studio system and distributed by independent entertainment companies.
Short films of any kind will be accepted for selection:
With a maximum running time of 15 minutes including credits.
Products after 01/01/2020.
Who have not participated in the previous editions of "TRAme Indipendenti"

The short film can be of any kind; the materials received will be divided into the following categories: "narratives", "documentaries" and "animations". A prize will be awarded for each category. If a sufficient number of applications will be not reached for the "documentary" and "animation" categories, the Festival organization reserves the right to enter and evaluate the relative works in the "narrative" category.
All films, except those in Italian, must have English subtitles, whenever possible, it is preferable that the subtitles are not overlayed on the video. It is anyway mandatory to send the organizers the separate file with english subtitles.
For selected short films, a high-quality download link must be sent to the indicated email address.
The high-quality shorts films must have the following technical characteristics:
• minimum resolution: 1920x1080 (Full HD)
• video codec: Apple ProRes
• video container (preferred): .mov
For the selected short films the author must complete, sign and send to the organizers a form accompanied by a copy of a valid ID.
The short films selected must be accompanied by at least two photos and / or promotional posters in jpeg, png, gif format (maximum size 5 MB)
The submitter accepts all responsibility regarding the intellectual property of the short film and the complementary material supplied and the complete responsibility for all the images and commercial logos used.
The submitter allows the promotion of the film on his/her behalf, the organization of multiple screenings, both open to the public and private, without any copyright infringement.
Materials that defames or vilifies any person, people, races, religion or religious group and is not invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable will not be accepted.
The registration fee is not refundable in any case and will be considered a voluntary donation.
The sum collected will be used to support organizational expenses.
All decisions made by the Artistic Direction, the Selection Committee and the judging Juries are at their sole and absolute discretion, and are final and unreviewable.
For the selected short films, the sender allows the free use of the film and its screening in full during the Festival and other cultural events related to the TRAme Indipendenti Festival promoted by the Association, including through private streaming for projecting the event in multiple theatres.
The organizers reserve the possibility of broadcasting the evening in live streaming. The streaming of the evening will not be made available except for the duration of the live broadcast.
It also allows the publication of sent texts and pictures relating to the film on the festival catalogue, on its website and on the social media pages of the festival. The selection of a film to the Festival also entails the sharing and/or streaming of the full trailer and of part of the selected film itself on the Festival website and its social media pages, as well as the sharing and/or streaming of any frame or digital video, titles, names of the accredited parties or other material for solely promotional and organizational purposes.
The selected films will be saved in the digital archive of the “TRAme Indipendenti” Festival, where the films will be stored in off-line mode, classified and made available for the exclusive use of the organizers.
The selected films might be stored in one or more copies on digital storage device, also after the end of the Festival with the sole purpose of the circulation of culture or for educational purposes in events linked to the Festival in any country of the world and for an unlimited amount of time, during cultural events and TV broadcasts.

Il Festival “TRAme Indipendenti” ha lo scopo di promuovere il cinema indipendente attraverso la proiezione di produzioni cinematografiche di alta qualità, prodotte senza l’intervento di case di produzione cinematografica e/o di distribuzione

Gli organizzatori si riservano la possibilità di trasmettere la serata in diretta streaming. Lo streaming della serata non sarà reso disponibile se non per la durata della diretta.

Saranno accettati per la selezione cortometraggi di qualsiasi genere:
Con un tempo di esecuzione massima di 15 minuti titoli di coda inclusi;
Prodotti dopo l'01/01/2020;
Che non abbiano partecipato alle precedenti edizioni di “TRAme Indipendenti”
Il corto può essere di qualsiasi genere; i materiali pervenuti verranno suddivisi tra le seguenti categorie: “narrativi”, “documentari” e “animazioni”. Per ciascuna categoria verrà assegnato un premio. Qualora non dovesse pervenire un numero adeguato di candidature per le categorie “documentari” e “animazioni”, l'organizzazione del Festival si riserva di inserire e valutare le relative opere nella categoria “narrativi”.
Tutti i film, eccetto quelli in lingua italiana, devono avere sottotitoli in inglese, è preferibile che i sottotitoli non siano sovraimpressi nel video. È comunque obbligatorio inviare agli organizzatori del Festival il file separato con i sottotitoli in inglese.
Per i cortometraggi selezionati dovrà essere inviato un link per il download in alta qualità all'indirizzo email indicato.
I corti in alta qualità dovranno avere le seguenti caratteristiche tecniche:
• una risoluzione minima di 1920x1080 (Full HD);
• un video codec: Apple prores;
• video contenitore, preferito: .mov;
Per i cortometraggi selezionati l’autore dovrà compilare, firmare e inviare agli organizzatori un modulo corredato da una copia di un documento di identità valido.
I cortometraggi selezionati dovranno essere corredati di almeno due foto e/o poster promozionali in formato jpeg, png, gif (dimensione massima 5 MB)
Il mittente si assume ogni responsabilità riguardo la proprietà intellettuale del corto e del materiale complementare fornito nonché la completa responsabilità su tutte le immagini e i loghi commerciali utilizzati.
Il mittente consente la promozione del film per suo conto, l’organizzazione di più proiezioni, sia pubbliche che private, senza alcuna violazione del copyright.
Non saranno accettati materiali che diffamino o offendano persone, popoli, razze, religioni o gruppi religiosi e che non siano invasivi della privacy o lesivi del diritto all’immagine altrui, abusivi, diffamatori o altrimenti discutibili.
La quota di iscrizione non è rimborsabile in ogni caso e sarà considerata una donazione volontaria.
La somma raccolta sarà utilizzata per sostenere le spese organizzative.
Tutte le decisioni prese dalla Direzione artistica, dalla Commissione giudicatrice e dalle Giurie di valutazione sono a loro sola ed assoluta discrezione, e sono definitive e insindacabili
Per i corti selezionati, il mittente consente l'uso gratuito del film e la sua proiezione per intero sia durante il Festival che in altri eventi culturali legati al Festival TRAme indipendenti promossi dall'Associazione, anche mediante l’utilizzo di streaming per la proiezione dell’evento in più sale contemporaneamente.
Inoltre consente la pubblicazione dei testi inviati e delle immagini relative al film sulla locandina del festival, sul suo sito web e sulle pagine dei social media del festival. La selezione di un film al Festival comporta anche la condivisione e / o lo streaming del trailer completo e di parte del film stesso sul sito Web del Festival e sulle sue pagine di social media, nonché la condivisione e / o lo streaming di qualsiasi frame o video digitale, titoli, nomi delle parti accreditate o altro materiale esclusivamente a fini promozionali e organizzativi.
I film selezionati verranno salvati nell'archivio digitale del Festival TRAme Indipendenti in modalità offline, classificati e resi disponibili per l'uso esclusivo degli organizzatori.
I film selezionati potranno essere conservati in una o più copie su supporto digitale, anche dopo la fine del Festival al solo scopo di diffondere cultura o per scopi didattici negli eventi collegato al Festival in qualsiasi paese del mondo e per un numero illimitato di tempo, durante eventi culturali e trasmissioni TV.
