Artist Statement

Drive beyond Desire: erotic photography & short film. The Countess and the Abbess initiate a more satisfying way to receive Holy Communion from the Saint. I gave the models the appearance of being encased and preserved in wax, so they would resemble the 'incorruptible' bodies of saints that are displayed reposing in glass cases in numerous Roman Catholic churches, cathedrals and basilicas throughout Italy.
