TOUCH ATTEMPT
The video is an extract from an older work (Mobiles Go to Heaven). I reduced the number of shots, it's a bit of a tribute to Peter Kubelka, Stan Brakhage, or many others (Gidal, Frampton, certainly also Hans Richter or Dziga Vertov).
The video was filmed by throwing a mobile phone into the air.
There is no need to look for any content in it, but there is nevertheless a latently present moment of an attempt to touch something higher (invisible?). Maybe Baudelaire: Anywhere Out of the World!

Jan Adamove (1971)
Visual artist, film theorist and pedagogue. Since 2004 he has worked at the Department of Intermedia and Digital Media (Faculty of Fine Arts, Academy of Arts in Banska Bystrica / Slovakia). He devotes himself to experimental video films in which he focuses in topics such as: memory, power, movement, time.
