Director Biography - bistu ryx

Colombian artist, born in the city of Duitama, Colombia in 1979, studied music with an emphasis on flute, then studied fine arts, and then film and video direction and production at the Lummiere Foundation, and in the University Manuela Beltran 2004, in 2000 he made a trip to the Amazon and there he has contact with the Huitoto tribes, that meeting will mark him deeply in his philosophy towards a Shamanic Experimental Electronic art. In 2006 he settled in the city of Barcelona, Spain, from there he collaborates in several projects of Experimental music and contemporary noise, and develops his specialization in soundscapes, since 2010 he has been working on the production and research of soundtracks for various films, and in the year 2016 he establishes in the city of dresden germany, he currently works at the dresden film festival as a jury in the selection of the best soundtracks and sound design for the nominated films.
