"TOGAR'S EAR"

The short film titled Telinga Si Togar was born as a form of social reality about someone who has the right to aspire and take part in politics, even though he is in the lower class.

This movie tells the story of a young man named Togar who works as a kretek massage specialist in MANJA Village (Mandailing - Java). Being the only kretek specialist masseur in the village makes his name popular among the village community. Togar earned a lot of money and information from his clove massages. While practicing his profession with a sensitive ear for information, Togar heard many stories from his customers about Baron's poor performance as Village Head and suspected abuse of power. Once upon a time, the opportunity to uncover the truth about the real figure of the village head was in Togar's hands. Seeing the reality of the community's difficulties in accessing health services moved his conscience to reveal the answers to these problems. On the way to uncover Baron, Togar met Olivia, a doctor in his village who also felt unrest over the lack of assistance from the government for adequate health care facilities.
Based on this sense of fate, Togar and Olivia organized a plan to find strong evidence of the Baron's abuse of power. Their goal becomes one: to remove Baron from office.But will the power of Baron and Olivia be able to uncover Baron's corruption?What strategies will they devise to dethrone Baron?
