Director Statement

Coming from my experiences of diving into a one-sided love, when everything seemed pointless. Fighting parents to go out quietly to meet her, trying to be cool when she's around, and loving her unconditionally.
Rigby comes as a representation of myself where blindness is so evident in waiting for the ephemeral. It's a hyperbole but it's real. With his superpower, Rigby's character is expected to be an American-style superhero, but sadly, he can't control it. Everyone, including myself, has the potential that we sometimes bury. There is no intention to learn, no passion for living.

Why? Cause, I only want that one thing: to be her partner. All the pleasure that was present was only a temporary sweetener from the bitter reality that in fact, the woman I craved at that time didn't really want me.

This movie is a great analogy of the impact of love that slowly kills. When love becomes an obsession, It eats us and abandoned us from society. Never trying to solve our personal problems but searching for the uncertain.
I always hope that this movie will reach the people I want it to reach. A personal work that I made for one person, putting it into the perspective of a lame hero who can't speak fluently.
