Our teammate, Pablo Picasso, told us the story about his nephew's birthday party. He described the gathering as any other birthday party thrown in a Mexican household; a room with every family member present, music, dancing, karaoke, gossiping, and tons and tons of food.
But something stood out to him. Like in every traditional Mexican birthday, there was a piñata, and staring right at it with complete determination was his nephew, ready to hit it until it broke with candy bursting out.
The whole idea of "What is happening inside this kid's mind," as he hit the piñata with a blindfold on, was inspired by the fascination in his eyes.
After hearing this and the concept behind it, we immediately fell in love and explored all the paths and possibilities we had in our hands on how we could incorporate our culture and ancestry.
"Tino" is a story about wonder and imagination. It's a story about courage and how there's always a chance to be brave, no matter how small.
