It's a story about the succession of the good and bad life experiences of a young lady called Berth in a particular year. It starts with Berth's promotion at work, then her mum's recovery from cancer. However, things took a turn when her fiance for many years insisted she aborts the pregnancy she was carrying. Everything started going wrong from there.

Director Biography - Ademilola olayinka Amokomowo

Demi Amokomowo is a director, editor and a photographer who lives in Lagos-Nigeria. He studied business administration in igbinedion University Okada and graduated in 2005. Since then he has been self-studying filmmaking through the use of various platform's resources online. Also, he has been involved in writing couple of stories for short films and worked as a film crew for some short movies and musical videos production set. This Film " This Christmas" is his directorial debut. He has aspirations to direct movies for big production companies in the future.

Director Statement

The story " This Christmas" was originally written by my sister Adebola. It portrays the life of a lady in pursuit of happiness, but finds out that life may not end up the way one plans.
Also, the aim of the story is to portray the joy, sadness and struggle in the life of an average Nigerian single lady. It’s been an honor to collaborate with the community that gathered to tell this story.
