THE CORRIDOR
An experimental tribute to Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining” (1980) created by extracting 864 frames (24 per second) from the 36 seconds wellknown long-shot that shows Danny Torrance riding his tricycle through the Overlook hotel. All the frames have been aligned along a path that virtually represents the trajectory of the tricycle through the corridors of the hotel. The movement of a virtual camera inside and outside the frames reveals the geometry of the passageway and finally re-creates the animated original film.
