THE WArDROBE

THE WArDROBE is an opera-film about Natasha and the women in her family. As Natasha empties her recently deceased grandmother's wardrobe in order to sell her apartment, waves of memories come to the surface together with echos of well-engrained rules supposed to grant women the conditions for a successful living... Sung by Ar the Wardrobe (Gabriele Spina, baritone) - Armadio is a masculine name in Italian -, this opera explores what it takes, as a woman, to go beyond the comfort of the domestic walls, into the world, to do what you hold dear in your heart.
