THE VILLIKON CHRONICLES
His first officer MALCOLM VISMAL, and neglected wife CALISTA, frame CAPTAIN KORT VILLIKON for genocide. Forgoing imprisonment in a military stockade, arbitrary proceedings sentence Villikon to be banished with convicted criminals on a culturally diverse prison world, populated by maniacal criminals, refugee slaves, vampirical beings, and Neolithic creatures.
In an adventure that spans a decade, Villikon’s crusade results in sorrow, betrayal, villainous encounters, and spiritual closure to the man he thought he was. His dramatic tale unravels in a time and space distant from our own. In a saga seasoned with adventure, gothic eroticism, horror, and metaphorical creed, a definitive statement about our own moral convictions and religious beliefs is revealed. Based on the cult favorite graphic novel series.

Bryan Kinnaird started as a staff writer in the late 80's, writing for morning radio. He later wrote marketing scripts for sales companies before professionally writing and producing corporate training programs for his own video production company. In 1997, Bryan began working on a motion picture screenplay that would imaginatively portray the trials and tribulations of mankind. This intriguing tale, set against the backdrop of a militarized universe plagued with maniacal villains, vampirical creatures, religious fanaticism, and moral hypocrisy, became the sci-fi epic graphic novel series, THE VILLIKON CHRONICLES.
DIAMOND COMIC DISTRIBUTORS gave the third graphic novel in his hit comic book series the coveted "SPOTLIGHT" in their December 2001 issue of PREVIEWS magazine. It was showcased as a "not to be missed" item for retailers to stock.
Bryan also authored the comic book adaptation of the DALLAS television series and a book based on KISS, told as a biography from Sean Delaney’s point of view (the original road manager and co-founder of the band.)
“I seem to have a gift for working the opposite direction…reverse adaptations if you will. I finish my projects as film scripts before looking for ways to develop them into other forms of media. While waiting for an epic script to get a green light, I figure its stock will already be more valuable because the script at the same time becomes a good derivative of the other media launched before the script - (even though the script came first.) I personally like knowing the script was written first because most scripts that evolve from other products such as video games or comic books tend to feel forced when you watch them on the big screen.”
