Director Statement

The Most Beautiful Memory is a personal exploration of how memories shape us — and how we can return to them not only through words, but also through the senses, emotions, and imagination.

While working with seniors, I realized that some of the most profound life moments are hidden in ordinary memories: the smell of fresh bread, the warmth of a touch, the sound of a voice we no longer hear. This film is not just about memory — it's about finding a beautiful moment within it and feeling it again, with the whole body.

I wanted to create a space where technology — like artificial intelligence — is not a threat, but a gentle tool that helps us rediscover something deeply human and fragile.

This project is part of a broader journey: exploring how story, memory, and digital creativity can come together to preserve what is most precious — our lived experience. It is also an experiment, in which we ask whether a powerful memory, experienced through multiple senses, can bring the beauty of the past into the present — and not just for a fleeting moment.
