The film tells the story of two main characters - pianist Antoni and writer Juliusz. The narrator introduces us to the story. Both heroes face the great problem of hiding their true emotions. They are afraid to show their true colors to the world, so they wear masks. Antoni is devastated after the breakup and delves into the world of music, while Juliusz has been trying to write his book for months, but he is not sure if it is good enough for future readers to buy it. Juliusz gives up on his dreams, and Antoni sinks into melancholy. The characters find motivation to act after listening to a certain podcast. Juliusz begins to believe in his abilities. After this transformation, our heroes get to know each other and confess their greatest fears and weaknesses to each other. After some time, they start working together. Juliusz helps Antoni become a future star of Polish music, and Antoni arranges Juliusz to meet the editor. The editor is delighted with Juliusz's novel and wants to publish it. Julius is happy. The heroes realized that it was worth taking off this mask, despite the pressure exerted by society. The film shows that it is worth being yourself, showing what you feel and living your own life against the opinions of others.
