In 2024 I completed the feature documentary ‘The Infinite Game’. This social impact film focusses on preparing children for an unknown future of global change and technology.
I have spent the last 4 years of my life on this project working as director, writer, producer and editor. This film is based on my research in communities in Australia, Finland, U.K., Europe and U.S.A.
My background is in film, communication, business and education. I was Co-Producer on the award winning film Stepping Out, and I was the Documentary Project Manager at the Australian Film Commission. I have worked with Oscar winning animator Bruce Petty, award winning directors including Gillian Armstrong and director/composer Yantra de Vilder. My latest film, The Infinite Game 2: Every Child is a Genius: the Neuroscience of Brilliance is in pre-production.
I am the author of two internationally published books on children and well being - Growing Greener Children and Parenting as an Art.
My filmmaking began using 8mm and I immediately became entranced by the magic of the moving image. My studies and work have led me how to explore telling of stories using the visual medium. I believe film allows us to enter into a portal of other worlds – both entrancing and challenging us to go beyond our own biography yet at the same time be touched by the universal messages that live on through witnessing the lives of the people we encounter on the screen. I am inspired by the work of Luis Bunuel and Yasujirō Ozu and their ability to transcend time and space through the visual medium.
