Actor, poet, filmmaker, Eduardo Yagüe is interested in mixing genres in his videos, searching the limits and interactions of poetic and cinematographic languages. His works are characterized by the roles of actors, expressive landscapes, delicate interiors and the choice of poems from prominent international poets. Eduardo has been making videopoems and poetry short films for almost a decade. His works have been awarded in international videopoetry competitions and screened at festivals, museums and universities around the world.
Love is imperfect and sometimes so sad that sadness spreads all over the city... 'The horses are so sad' is based on a short dialogue line from the film 'Our Time' by Mexican filmmaker Carlos Reygadas and it's my first poetry film with one of my poems since 2012.
