Director Biography - Eric C Player

Eric Player is a graduate of the Brigham Young University and Chapman University film schools. By day, he works as a freelance writer, and by night he stalks Hollywood with an armload of scripts and a crazed look in his eyes. He has produced, written, or been a part of over three dozen films; his movies have been seen in theaters all across the United States and Europe, including at the Newport Beach Film Festival, the 2010 Film Expo Asia, the 15 Minutes of Fame Film Festival, Top Shorts, the LDS Film Festival, and the Culver City Film Festival. His projects have won awards at many of the venues wherein they have been featured, most notably a Best Picture and Best Director nod from Roadhouse International Film Festival. His articles have appeared in publications as varied as The Leading Edge (BYU Sci-Fi Anthology), The Vintage Times, and Papercrafts Magazine (Just what it sounds like). Eric edits his own projects and the projects of others. He also works as a script reader and critic for writers and production companies on a per-script basis. He was most recently represented by the Montgomery West Literary Agency, and is the President and CEO of Panther Pictures, LLC.
