Director, video artist, works in the international art scene from the 80s to today. Among the pioneers of intermediality and of the application of video art in the theater, he has always experimented with innovative languages and techniques associated with the electronic image. His works can take different forms, depending on whether they are integrated into live performances, in the form of installations on one or more screens, or whether they are "single-channel" works conceived for a television screen. His humanistic studies (contemporary foreign languages and literatures), supported by the "Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Roma", allowed him to move abroad with ease, comparing himself with international authors and achieving further specializations. It is in the theater that Iaquone wanted to experiment with the relationship between his directions, video creations and an audience of spectators, decontextualizing video art from its "privileged" places.
Many people and internships have involved him but the collaborations with Giorgio Barberio Corsetti, Ricardo Pais, Robert Wilson, Giorgio Armani, Lucio Dalla, Alfredo Arias, Antonella Ruggiero, Andrè Gingras, Lorenzo Mariani, Paulo Ribeiro, Katia and Marielle Labèque and Viktoria Mullova, Leo Muscato, to name a few.
