“IBS saves lives…”

This Mockumentary Skit satirizes technological addiction through Carter Stood – a young man who is institutionalized by his Mother by way of an addiction to the app Tik Tok. Like my short film HoLoCENE –this film serves to question the role we play in monitoring our usage of technology, its implementation into our daily lives, and its effect on personal relationships. In an inspired hybrid of George Lucas’ THX and Rob Reiner’s This Is Spinal Tap – I’ve compared Carter’s plight to that of someone with Irritable Bowl Syndrome (IBS) through the fictionalized “Institute for Belligerent Screen-Time” (IBS).
