THE DARKENED

This short film was made to accompany a six-song album with the same title, written and performed by Garrett Duncan. The film also features tracks from the album.

The Darkened Movie follows a musician struggling with his faith, career and marriage. After receiving news that his label is about to drop him, he goes to great lengths and embarks on a dangerous journey to save the things he holds dear. Traveling between reality and “The Darkened,” he meets the embodiment of “Fear”: A white-masked figure wielding a knife and card deck. Events unfold, leading him to begin a process of self-discovery.
