Director Biography - KARANGWA Gilbert

My name is Gilbert KARANGWA, I was born in 1987. I studied Mathematics and Physics in Secondary School at Groupe Scolaire St Philippe Neri Gisagara, I also have A1 in Accounting at Adventist University of Central Africa. I am former documentation officer at NGO called Ubuntu Edmonton/Centre Cesar since 2009 until 2013. In 2010-2013 I worked as assistant Director on Songs videos for local Artists. In 2017 I was Gaffer in a TV Series called Virunga School. In 2022 I joined Mashariki African Film Festival where I studied Script Writing, Directing and Acting. I wrote and Directed a short film called “THE CHOICE” and I participated in Mashariki African Film Festival 8th Edition.
