Director Biography - Louis VIGNES

Louis VIGNES is a French director, sound engineer & composer. He co-founded a small production company, Studio Café, in 2020 with his brother Raphaël VIGNES and his best friend. The opportunity to produce and direct short films came with the income from corporate film production in Paris.

Between 2018 and 2020, he produced and composed 2 albums before discovering his love for cinema. Between 2020 and 2023, he produces, with Studio Café, 15 short films, over 90 corporate films & composes some of the soundtracks for these films.

During the confinement, he co-wrote "La Cassette" (2020), which was directed by his brother the following summer, and then co-directed 4 episodes of the series "Genesis" (2021).

In 2022, Studio Café produced two short films in which Louis participated in. "Odette", as a sound engineer directed by Valentine SEMADENI and "La Dernière Expédition", directed by Raphaël VIGNES, as 1st assistant director. At the same time, he co-wrote "Un Autre Jour", with Jake Day, which he directed, with Studio Café Production, in July 2022.

In 2023, he participated as director of photography in the production of " Drink ", a short film directed by Ryan Kay & Anaïs Rueda.
