Experiencing Interruptions?

THE BEAT ( Drummers Gone Wild in the Bible Belt)

“The Beat “(Drummers Gone Wild in the Bible Belt) was filmed at Caddo Common Park in Shreveport, LA. This documentary story line conveys how Drum Circles which became a multicultural pastime over the past 40 years in larger metropolitan areas now has found its way to the Bible belt. Shreveport is considered by many the “Belt Buckle of the Bible Belt”. This video features short interviews with attendees along with impromptu vocal performances by local celebrities. Ron Hardy is the host of the Drum Circles which were held November 7, 14, 21 and December 7, 2019. There are many moments of dynamic drumming along with a lot of smiles in this culturally diverse multi-generational creative setting. It goes on to show how drums and percussion instruments which require little or no prior musical training have the power to bring people together engaging each other without words.. This video tends to inspire and teach people that everyone is musical and there's a place for everyone in the circle of music. The BEAT rules!
