Born and raised in Parañaque City, Tricia Sotaso is a 21 year old student film maker at Mapúa University. You'll frequently see her in the walled city of Intramuros, Manila either documenting something that catches her eye or working on different projects at a coffee shop.
Her photography works are in line with portraiture and street. However in films, it is evident that she is fond of using and experimenting with mirrors. She explores particularly on the aspect of performance including time and space. Tricia is currently working on her thesis study, a narrative film which deconstructs the depiction of sex in the Philippine Cinema.
