Chintan, a writer in his early 40’s has been sent to Goa, by his editor and publisher Lucky Mehra, to finish writing his long overdue, follow up to his earlier smash hit, ‘Sola Saal ki Sola Kahaniaan’ , his new book’ is titled, Satra Saal ki Satra Kahaniaan’

The setting is a lovely cottage mansion run by a Russian Mom and her Son. Their speciality is making food that heals the soul.

The property is a co-habit space, which has multiple guests checking in.

While Chintan sits to write his soft-porn novel, he begins observing the characters around him and uses the situation he observes as a take off point to his novel..

While his novel is being written, we take small dives into the lives of the other characters in the cottage..

The Characters

Chintan

On assignment to finish writing his follow up to his previous soft porn novel.. Chintan finds himself sharing his cottage space with other travellers.

What he observes in them, he uses to fuel his imagination and writing..

But Chintan is also dealing with his own existential crisis, his deep desire to actually write poetry…

Anand, Nila and Anu.

The family in the cottage. Anand, 30’s, a failed actor is meeting his wife Nila, 30’s, corporate manager, and their 9 year old daughter, after a Nine month long separation.

Anand and Nila have been having their differences for a while and have only come together because, Anu’s 10th birthday is around the corner.
Will a reconciliation be possible considering the promises that have been broken?

Anand has a lot to make up with Nila for.
Anu, is quiet and seems like she’s in her own world.. But she’s sensitive and aware about her parents issues.

Roshan Shetty

Mid 40’s, portly and seems to be on an alcohol binge which he can’t hide anymore. His moody behaviour has everyone unsettled in the house.

The Russians are worried too and begin plans to concoct a special pizza for his wounded soul

Roshan seems to have a death wish.. and he’s hurtling towards one.
Anu, the little girl is privy to his tragic past and shares it with Nila.
Chintan meanwhile uses Roshan to build a villain in his story..

Sufit

She is the centre of Chintan’s attention, but she’s got bigger things in her mind.
A Beautiful tattoo of a Birds Wing, on her back..

Sufit is from Dubai, her roots in Iran.
Female Solo Traveller, as Chintan would refer to her in his feeble attempt to woo her.

But she’s just found out that she’s pregnant. Something her free spirit is deeply conflicted by.. and also the social repercussions begin to dawn on her.

Sufit needs some help, friend-zoned Chintan comes to the rescue.
What will Sufit decide when it comes to her having a child.

‘Dev aka DJ DEV aka Deep Electronic Vibe’ and Mango

Having given up being the local DJ in his suburban neighbourhood and with all left to prove to his parents, that he will make a success out of his choice of career..

Dev arrives in Goa, hoping to connect with his friend Mango, who had boasted in their school whatsapp group, that he is a manager in a Goan resort.

Dev hopes, Mango’s connections will help him break out as the new cool DJ in Goa..

Mango fed up with Dev’s overbearing self, fixes him a room in the Russians cottage mansion.

Dev thinks he’s totally sorted.
But Mango has his own reasons to help his friend Dev.

Mango in return asks Dev to steal the antique gun displayed in the Cottage’s living room. But what are his reasons?

How Dev is compelled to accept Mango’s request and would this derail his DJ ambitions?
