Our goal is to provide an outlet for youth filmmakers to showcase their talents and creative minds. Our festival is open to the Teenagers from around the world.
Our festival wants shorts that will bring inspiration and motivation. We are looking for shorts based on principles and values and shorts that will bring a positive message to many issues from our communities. Teenagers showcasing the best in the world in one place. If you think you have what it takes to become the next Film Director, actor, producer, then write your script, cast your talent, gather your camera gear and get to record and submit your film.

The first edition of Teen Film Fest Worldwide will take place in Miami, Florida

Teen Film Fest Worldwide is an outlet for young talented filmmakers to share their passion for filming with the World Film community and network with other filmmakers including professionals.

All films must address an aspect of faith and MUST NOT EXCEED 20 Minutes in Length.
The filmmaker must be between the ages of 12 - 25.
The Festival is open to middle school, high school,
and college are invited to enter films.
Filmmakers are strongly encouraged to attend the festival.
Content must be appropriate for all audiences of all ages.

A jury will review all submitted entries and select films to be screened at the Festival.

FILM FESTIVAL SELECTION:
The top ten films will be selected SEPT 2020. If your film is selected you must be present at the screening OCT 3-4, 2020, to receive your prize.
prizes will be Certificates and Trophies.
Awards will be sent to the winning filmmakers after the event's conclusion it wasn't collected in person. Postage of the award will be pay by the winners.

Rules & Terms
OFFICIAL RULES
All films must be submitted by www.filmfreeway.com/teenfilmfestworldwide.

* All films will be review and end up as part of our Official Selection. then they will compete with each other to the final worldwide best.
Festival dates and venue are subjects to change.
*All short films must be directed, produced, edited and written by a teen in Middle School, High School, and College. Age 12-25
*All entries may be either a group project or individual work.
* Valid student ID is required for student submissions.
* We would consider a film to be a student film if the filmmaker was a student at the time of the completion of the film.
*We want Short films with a good and positive message.
*We allow Adult guidance and instruction are permitted, but the production must reflect teen work and effort.
*Adults are permitted to participate as actors in your film.
*The short films may be on any topic but our festival supports anything related to issues like gun control, bullying, education, poverty, war, alcohol, political, pregnancy, any topic related to teenagers and our society. etc.

*Our goal is to help our filmmaker to get recognized, learn from their film and connect us to make a better world.

* Any short film that will bring principles, values to our community. Films may be on any topic, but must be for General Public (PG Rated).
Films with full nudity, language or graphic depictions of sexual acts will not be considered or accepted to our festival.
* Each film must be at least 2 minutes long, but no longer than about 20 minutes.
* Teen Film Fest Worldwide requires all filmmakers to obtain permission to use copyrighted music, sound, videos, logos in their films. Filmmakers can also use their own original music.
* Films with the language other than English must have English subtitles.

* All films must be in English or subtitled in English

* Filmmakers must have secured clearance to use all copyrighted or trademarked material (music, images, text sources, etc). Failure to obtain clearance could result in your film being withdrawn from the Teen Film Fest Worldwide festival.

* The top ten films will be selected AUG 2020. If your film is selected you must be present at the screening day, to receive your Certificate or Trophy.

*Awards will be sent to the winning filmmakers after the event's conclusion it wasn't collected in person. Postage of the award will be covered by the festival only in the United States.

*. The contest is open to youth ages 12-25, with complete disregard to geographical location, race, religion, creed, sex, disabilities, DNA, or military service.

* Minimal adult help is allowed and encouraged. This means adults may advise or demonstrate with the goal of teaching. Adults may drive, help secure equipment and locations, or provide the pizza. Adults should strive to help kids be better filmmakers, learn new skills, and develop hidden talents.

*All filmmakers under the age of 18, will need to get their parent or guardian's permission to submit the film and be invited to the TEEN Film fest, should the film be selected for public screening, without this permission, we will be unable to consider the film for inclusion into the festival**

COPYRIGHT & LEGAL TERMS
By entering your film for consideration to the 2020 TEEN FILM FEST WORLDWIDE, you authorize that your work is cleared for festival exhibition and accept full legal responsibility for the intellectual property therein. The submitter and all filmmakers associated with the project shall indemnify and hold harmless the TEEN FILM FEST WORLDWIDE, and any representative or affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.

We require a synopsis and a link to your film. We are requesting a poster for your film and the right information on the Director name and the origin of the film.
Please select the correct category while submitting to avoid disqualification. We reserve right to re-assign films to the appropriate category.

By submitting a film to TEEN FILM FEST WORLDWIDE, you are accepting these rules and conditions in their entirety.

SCREENERS
All projects must be submitted via secure online screener - either as a password protected Vimeo link attached to your submission, or uploaded directly to FilmFreeway. Films MUST be ready to download. The submitter is responsible for ensuring that their screener link and password is active. Failure to respond by the final submission deadline will result in disqualification without refund of submission fees.
