Toronto Catholic Family Film Festival

Celebrating the year of the family through film. What does family look like in our school communities?

All tcdsb schools are invited to create a 2-3 minute short video focusing on the theme of the family.
• What does family look like in our school communities?
• Who is our family?
• How do we all belong?
• What makes a catholic family?

Consider the catholic graduate expectations, the virtues of the month and other resources found on the nurturing our catholic community website for inspiration. Https://www.tcdsb.org/nocc

Collaborate with schools in your neighbourhood, or consider involving younger students in your school community.
Students in grades 7-12 are invited to submit their original videos by no later than february 19th.

All students involved in the video production (creators as well as performers) must have written parental consent as the videos will be published on the board’s website.
Please note that details about where and how to submit your videos will be coming soon.

All videos will be showcased on the board’s website www.tcdsb.org
The entire tcdsb commmunity—students, staff, trustees and parents—will have an opportunity to vote online for their favorite movies. Watch for more details on the voting process later on.

The top (10) ten schools will be announced online and invited to the first ever toronto catholic film festival in the spring at a venue to be confirmed.
(please note that intermediate teachers or secondary teachers must accompany the group to TCFF should they finish in the top 10.)
