TARANTULA
When the virus is no longer the sole cause of human death during a pandemic, but it is the humans who are aware and unconscious are killing each other in the midst of "new normal", which is actually not really "normal" at all.

Born in 22 July 1998, my name Andika Wahyu Adi Putra, I am Film Student at Jogja Film Academy, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. but I’m also passionate about arts, and writing. And over the past year, I have started making experimental short films, writing my opinion, art critics, and short stories in my own current blog. In addition, I have experience working in the creative community and industry as Program Director on Cacophony Indonesia, and also a co-founder of LOSTE Production, a Production House that working on creative art fields, like Film Production, New Media Art works, Video Arts, and Performance Arts.
In this work I respond, the socio-political conditions in Surabaya City, when a pandemic of corona virus broke out throughout East Java, Indonesia. How then, politicians are more busy dwelling on regulations, and seem to allow deaths in their region to increase and no longer controlled. In this work, I mocked goverment with female subject that wrapped on plastic, because Surabaya and East Java, now being led by a female mayor and governor who are now busy with internal conflicts in their own government, rather than thinking about the fate of their million citizens. Resulting in half the occupation of East Java, died because of COVID-19, and became the highest death rate in all parts of Indonesia.
