How far can a granddaughter's love for a grandmother go?
"Tacchi" tells the story of an uncertain but unrelenting everyday life, of silent suffering enclosed in a house, of quiet and deep devotion, of a girl who decides to wear her own red heels and prostitute herself in order to care for her grandmother, who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

Director Biography - Davide Orfeo


Davide Orfeo (Naples, 2001), works as a cinematographer, director and photographer. He explores and experiments with different photographic media: from medium format film to 35mm, to modern digital. Recurring themes in his work range from the search for light, to senile age and Alzheimer's, inspired mainly by his connection with his grandparents.
He graduated in graphic design and communication from ITI Enrico Medi in San Giorgio a Cremano (NA) in 2019 and participated in master classes of various kinds, including those with Giuseppe Lanci and Daniele Ciprì.
Curated the photography for the short film "La passeggiata" (2022) by Alessando Derviso with Giacomo Rizzo. Directs "Frame" (2021) winner of the best short film award in the official section of the Believe Film Festival IV edition and "Tacchi" (2023). He supervises the photography and editing of the short film "Vuota" (2022) by Mattia Pellegrino. In 2023 as a competitor he will become a contributor to the Believe Film Festival, making a documentary about the event.
He is part of the film collective "Super8" and is responsible for the photography of several short films, including "Blackout"(2019) and "Il giusto accordo" (2022) directed by Giovanni Bellotti.
"Barlume"(2024) is his next short film featuring actors Tiziana Tirrito and Arduino Speranza.
