Symphony of the Body
While trains and travelers come and go in Central Station of Rotterdam which is as massive as it is impressive, two men find each other in music and dance. This poetic and musical film explores functional architecture and the body. With prodigy flamenco dancer Eduardo Guerrero and magisterial singer and saxophonist Antonio Lizana.

Monica Ruiz van Hattem, daughter of a Spanish father and a Dutch mother, was born in Madrid, Spain (1967), raised in Basque Country and lives now in The Netherlands. In 1997, she took the title of Industrial Design Engineering. In 2003 she started with video journalism and from 2013 she is dedicated to independent documentaries. In 2016 she won the Young Jury Price at FIDBA (International Documentary Festival Buenos Aires) for her first feature length documentary, The Death of Don Quichote. In addition to filmmaking she lectures Documentary Practice at the University of Twente. And she hosts every year the Flamenco Festival Rotterdam.
