Syed Mohammad Harris is a film school student from AJK MCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia and a freelance Filmmaker, Photographer and Journalist. Coming from a small town, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, he developed his interest in Photography and moved to Delhi for higher studies at Jamia Millia Islamia, where he got introduced to Performing Arts and Audio Visual storytelling later on.
As a creative storyteller, Harris worked in many short films and a feature film. He is passionate about the art of capturing social life dullness, issues of poverty, loss of culture & heritage and capturing inner conflict of the marginalized. He has great interest in Cinematography, Screenwriting, Documentary Filmmaking and Painting.
Coming from a similar background, Harris likes to talk to old & marginalized people and empathize with the "have-not's" to understand what exactly has changed in the past decade. Documenting the lives of people and social reality, he wants to tell stories that can resonate with all citizens and make them think about the purpose of humanity.
His inspiration to do so is consciously rooted by various Street & Stage Plays he has done on road and on stage as an artist, director and musician. He likes to go deep with his Ukulele while thinking about the direction in which Humanity has taken its course into.
Apart from this, Harris is a professional looking forward to a community of like minded creative people to work for. He has greater hope in Humanity and the power of Hope.
