Swoon

For the past 4 years I have been in a one-sided pouring out of whimsical reverie redolent to a Spring’s dovetail. I am looking forward to emulating Nature with this magical muse of mine, that is… I am looking still to score to the fore.

This is the apophatic libation!

A drake drawn inside-out; though precarious, prepped to be consumed by his reflection which she is… the one he thinks to be bright enough to pair perfectly; he, a canard-cooked and soaked in esculent euphoria like a duck to water; all-in-on his moonshot to this dove-tale, requited or not… Swoon.

Swoon, The Film was thrown together as a kind of New Year’s resolution to publish something out there to the Cosmos so that I can focus on living the story rather than expressing it; I’ll continue writing of course and there are more films and stories coming from Michael Lawrence Bates’ Swoon Nature to the fore!

Director Biography - Michael Lawrence Bates

Michael Lawrence Bates is a Vancouver born Whistlerite who loves the mountains, snowboarding, fishing, hiking and of course to create art and write. Michael was trained in Classical Animation and 3D Animation tools. Art has been Michael's passion before school, throughout and continuing on to the fore four sheets to the wind. He uses his motley of skills as a scintillating sublimation on the screen.
