Donald Tilghman was born and raised in Glendale, AZ. He grew up watching Alfred Hitchcock films, Twilight Zone, and terrible horror movies. After graduating from Apollo High School, Donald got his first on-set job as a production assistant on the feature film The Frankenstein Syndrome by Sean Tretta. It was all fake blood clean-up and coffee runs in an abandoned hospital wing.
He was hooked.
Afterwards, he worked with Victory Angel Films and Big Brain Productions on multiple features, shorts, music videos, and commercials. After a few years, it was time for Donald to return to school at Glendale Community College and graduated in 2015.
Switchblade is a project dear to my heart because it is for my father. He has been writing and playing music for over 40 years and it is my honor to finally get to show the world his amazing music. This song was so much fun and so catchy, I had to use it for something exciting. If anything, I just want to show my Dad that I love him for everything he's ever done for me in my life, and my dreams of being a filmmaker. Thank you Dad! I love you!
