Director Biography - Harry Lynch

For more than 20 years, Harry Lynch has been a film producer, director, writer, cinematographer and soundtrack producer, specializing in location documentaries. In that time, he has directed and/or produced 38 documentary features, specials or episodes, and directed or supervised over 300 short documentaries. He has managed and directed crews as large as 200, on nearly every continent. His work has been seen by millions of viewers around the world, on public television, in theaters and online.

As managing director of Arcos Films, he provides leadership and guidance for its staff, along with creative direction for the outside filmmakers who Arcos collaborates with. He was educated at the University of Texas film school (MA screenwriting program with a Michener writing/teaching grant) and Vanderbilt University (BA philosophy and art history).
