Director Biography - Wang Zuofu

Director Profile: Wang Zuofu was born in Guizhou, China, in December 1989. He studied oil painting at university, loved philosophy, art, and critical realism, as well as creating traditional Chinese art. "Swan Fly" is my first film.

Director Statement

The director explained: "Life is like a dream, we often encounter some things as if they had known each other, and now the scene is experiencing as if it had happened in a dream." What happens to you seems to be going through something that others are going through. I often think about dreams and realities, and often wonder if I'm in a dream or a reality. Based on this thinking, I tried to make the film. This film has no obvious logic, no distinct story, with very realistic shooting techniques, like a documentary to record life fragments, tell three life stories, three lives and related, as if you have me and I have you, even feel that this is a brother's story, such as a dream, but really happened. That's how life is, the same story plays out every day.
