Story comes first. As a writer, Suzan is drawn to untold stories with characters who are determined to right wrongs and restore justice and balance to the natural world. As a director, she considers how crafting the narrative serves the story. Her approach is artfully journalistic and intuitive.

Suzan has co-created and produced and been a director on five television series, as well as documentaries, and web series. Her work includes the regional Emmy-winning PBS environmental doc series, “EcoSense for Living,” and transformational reality series for Turner Broadcasting, HGTV, and the DIY network. Suzan is the Vice-Chair of the Producers Guild of America (PGA)/Atlanta Chapter, past president of Women in Film & Television/Atlanta, and Co-founder of the Women in Production Summit. Her scripted projects in development explore family dynamics and relationships against a backdrop of conservation and caring for the earth.
