I'm a London & Kent based actress and writer with a specialism in (and passion for) comedy.
I trained as an actress at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and have been lucky enough to perform extensively throughout the UK and beyond in theatres such as The National, the West End, Soho Theatre, National Theatre of Scotland, and the Mirvish Theatre in Toronto.
On screen I played the roles of 3 different teachers in the BAFTA winning CBBC show Class Dismissed. I was Miss Kinder (a teacher who looked so young she was mistaken for a child), Mrs Love (a loved up Australian PE teacher) and Ms Winston, a terrifying Godfather-style librarian. I love character roles and multi-roled in DNN, another sketch show for CBBC too. My regular character was traffic and travel reporter Bea Rhodes and as well as her I created, wrote and performed several of my own characters too.
More recently I played three different roles (Medusa, a ghostly twin, and a vlogger) for the Webseries How to Date a Magical Creature too. I love getting the chance to be versatile and to use my comedy chops. I'm equally at home playing one role of course (!) as in Seashore which was a short I wrote and starred in.
As a writer I am drawn to quirky characters, unusual stories, stories that celebrate women at all stages of their lives and tales that surprise us.
I am currently developing a comedy drama series called One Size Fits All with my writing partner Lucy Trodd.
