Susan Agostinelli has a vast range of experience in the TV and filmmaking community. She produces commercials and long form shows for major brands such as Apple, Google, Pepsi, Target, Honda, YouTube, Amazon, Samsung, Johnson + Johnson, Hulu and Disney to name but a few. She’s now adding screenwriting to tell passion stories of family and her experiences that she finds extremely entertaining. Her journey began at MTV on legendary shows Club MTV and “Unplugged”, then as Jr. Writer working on notable hits like “Sex In The 90s”. Gravitating towards warmer climate, Susan left NYC for LA and the world of post-production in music videos and commercials at Propaganda Films. She spent endless days in dark edit bays with likes of legendary directors Michael Bay, David Fincher, Nigel Dick, Mark Romanek and more… it was then that she learned to edit and she cut the first Pearl Jam video. Within a few quick years she soared up the ranks to Executive Producer overseeing music video, commercial, feature and long form projects for Two Headed Monster and then Original Films. She went on to form the music video and longform division of Sunshine Filmworks representing directors such as McG and Simon West. McG and Susan then formed G Entertainment where they produced award winning music videos and long forms for Cypress Hill, Sugar Ray and Korn to name a few. Continuing as an Executive Producer, she oversaw and managed the multi-million dollar, award winning, international music video company Squeak Pictures, overseeing ground breaking, smash-hit music videos for Oasis, Britney Spears, Smashmouth and The Backstreet Boys and numerous others. Susan also produced DVD and TV Specials for Willie Nelson, Limp Bizkit, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Rage Against the Machine. Early 2000s, Susan lived in London, representing US commercial directors for the European market. On her return stateside in 2006, Susan sold her first independent TV pitch to The Tennis Channel. “Change/Over” became a sub-brand of the channel and was lauded by viewers.
Susan was then “drafted” by colleagues to Line Produce Season II of the award winning “Sport Science” on the FOX Sports Network. Reality TV lead to real people and as a strategist and marketer Susan delved into the vast world of Direct Response Television - grasping its fantastic business model and producing and long form shows and commercials for major brands such as Toyota, Apple, Xfinity, Honda, Google, YouTube, Amazon, Samsung, Johnson + Johnson, Hulu, BMW, Pepsi, Target and more, whilst always developing and pitching shows, films and branded entertainment to networks and channels.
