Director Statement

Making this film has been a deep awakening for me. It started with the archival process - scanning and organizing over 2,000 still images and more than 40 hours of video tape. This material, this evidence, has been obscured by the State of New York for almost 50 years. To this day less than 2% of the images held by Fink have been officially released.

Somewhere in that journey the sheer weight of this story became clear. Statements from Fink that sounded like hyperbole turned out to be firmly rooted in the evidence. And the deeper I dug, the worse it got.

I've got photos to prove it.
