Calling all emerging Canadian filmmakers!

Based on the shared desire to showcase the work of emerging Canadian filmmakers, Reelworld is joining forces with the Harbourfront Centre to bring audiences the SUPER SHORT SHORTS program this summer!

Reelworld programmers are selecting up to ten (10) short films to be showcased in front of an audience of over 1,300 people at the Harbourfront Centre’s popular outdoor summer screening venue from June 28 to August 30, 2017.

Over the course of 10 weeks, a different short film from the SUPER SHORT SHORTS program will screen prior to each night’s feature film as part of the Wednesday Night Free Flicks film series at the Harbourfront Centre.

JURY

Our 3-person jury comprised of film industry professionals and Harbourfront Centre artistic programmers will select one winner for the Judge’s Choice Award.

PRIZES

The Judges’ Choice award-winner will receive an invitation and pass to attend the Reelworld Film Festival this October and have a chance to network with the film community at our Industry Day conference. Reelworld will also create a custom multi-platform social media campaign to promote the winning filmmaker throughout Canada. The winning film will also be showcased during the opening night event of the festival.
