Supah Kupuna Heroes
In his youth, Pehu "Supah Killah" Kahoe once reveled in the roar of 5,000 wrestling fans as he ripped his opponent's head off. Now, as a bored old man with bad eyes, he takes one more shot at glory by attempting to fight crime in his sleepy Hawaiian neighborhood.

Robert Barclay is a professor of English and Creative Media at Windward Community College in Kaneohe, Hawaii. He is the author of several novels, and his short film (as Executive Producer) Like Maddah premiered at the 2019 Hawaii International Film Festival.
This film attempts to push the boundaries of local Hawaii filmmaking by creating something strange and wonderful and different, while avoiding clichés and expectations such as ukulele music, tropical scenery, and touristic settings. It is at its heart a comedy, but you'll also find elements of sci-fi, horror, fantasy and adventure.
