Director Statement

After directing my short documentary "Between my father and Me" I had a dream about me listening to my mom's voice on a seashell when I woke up, worried, I wrote down the idea, becoming this story, and, in turn, this short film. After a time, I realized that the short that I made was nothing but a way to prepare myself for the inevitable, my father's death. As it turns out this is a personal intimate story about the feeling of letting go and acceptance.
