Sunned America

An upside down Buddhism,
cleared by the Rose in Peace,
pasture of the zebu bullfrog,
where the enlightment of the void
is not represented by
the Fires of the Full moon
alien to the mists of Maia,
But by a Crimsongolden Sun
unforgiving, all-revealing, true grited
that it all turn into bones.
A carnivorous Sun, made
of flesh; His blazing tongue a kissing
serpent, that touches you
me, and everyone.
And the Buddha is a great jaguar
that gasps at our backs, at times dry
other times wet, always
Breath of the Midday Sun
beating
you, me
and everyone.

The Sun mauls
the forges of the earth
the heat, the heat, the heat
Give me
the solace of the sea
