BIOGRAPHY – GABRIEL RAMOS SANTIAGO
Photographer
Gabriel was born in 1979 in Tuxtla Guitérrez, Chiapas. In 2006 he graduated with a Photography Bachelor’s degree in the Department of Visual Arts of the Universidad Veracruzana. In 2008 he concluded the workshop Sistemas de Zonas Digital, imparted by Antonio Galindo. Later on, in 2009 he concluded another workshop Aprender a contar historias en la era digital with the Bangladesh photographer Sahidul Alam. In 2015 he finalized the workshop of cinematography with the master Mario Luna. In 2018 Gabriel took a workshop of lighting for film and advertising with the outstanding director Carlos Marchovich. Finally in 2020 Gabriel win a scholarship to take a workshop of cinematography imparted by the AMC. In 2018 he realized the photographic direction and operated the Steadycam for the short film Polka, directed by Maruricio Fonseca.
In 2021 he realized the photographic direction for the short film Mi caballo alazán, directed by Mauricio Fonseca.
